Dr. Snead's Kidz Club

We feel that it is very important to observe growth and development of young children so that the need for future orthodontic treatment can be reduced or eliminated. We have found that relatively simple procedures can often eliminate the need for much more complex treatment at a later date.

You may be scheduled for a short  FREE-OF-CHARGE observation appointment a couple times a year. This is to monitor growth and development. This will allow Dr. Snead to intercept any potention problems early and determine the best time to start treatment. We will determine if we should place the child on periodic observation or if they might benefit from some form of interceptive orthodontic care. Since certain problems require the observation of erupting teeth or roots of teeth, the doctor may determine the need for an X-ray, but only after examining the child.

Once Dr. Snead has determined that it is too early to start treatment, you will be mailed a membership card to bring with you to your appointments from now until you are ready to begin orthodontic treatment. You can present your card to choose something from our gift basket! Being a charter member of our kidz club is our way of keeping our younger patients feeling at ease and excited to see us.

Office Retreat

The Southern Association of Orthodontists annual meeting, this year was held at the Gaylord Resort in Orlando. The three day event included various seminars and workshops that introduced us to new state-of-the-art technologies, chairside techniques and orthodontic products that keep our office on the "cutting edge" of excellence. Annually, Dr. Snead and staff attend classes to acquire continuing education hours, as well as their CPR certification.
